 equus
caballus:
the domesticated horse.
Created to bless humanity.
Deserving of humanity's care and respect.

You, dear visitor to this web page, are no doubt one of those humans blessed
with some appreciation for these wondrous creatures ... otherwise, you would
probably not be
reading this.
You don't need reminded that the horse was placed under our care by God, to
be our companion and to help us. You just want some information or to see
some pictures! So, let's get to it.

Choose a link from the list at the bottom of this page to hitch a ride to the most
helpful, informative, and delightful horse-related pages we've found on the web!
I've included (in process) :
 | the history of the horse, from prehistoric speculation to recorded types
and uses |
 | the incredible variety of horse breeds; though not all, of course, that
would take a lifetime; with information on each one's particular strengths
and weaknesses |
 | horse colors drive me wild. I'm fascinated by color inheritance and
classification. Soon, you will be, too. <smile> |
 | a place for pictures just to enjoy looking at them and marveling over
their amazing beauty and variety |
 | notes on the trainers I've found most effective; also the ones most
classically accepted; and the most radical. An interesting note: all
training methods WORK ... but does the end always justify the means? |
 | a place to list what's ahead in human get-togethers surrounding their
horses. From rodeos to dressage tests ... if I find out about it, I'll
list it here. |
 | where to buy a horse, or things to go with the horse |
 | how to select a horse if you want to have one of your own |
 | how to care for a horse once you have one |
 | links to books for sale about horse with brief reviews; also, out-of-print
books that helped me make it through childhood. |
